Education begins with a safe and inspiring environment for children to learn and grow. Guided by this belief, the Imperial Charity Foundation, the corporate social responsibility arm of Imperial Homes Limited, has successfully completed the renovation of the nursery block at Taifa Community School in the Dome-Kwabenya Constituency.
The project reflects the Foundation’s mission to build and renovate schools, particularly those serving children in their formative years. By creating safe and functional learning spaces, the Foundation aims to support quality education and contribute to the well-being of communities.
The renovation project commenced on 6 February 2026 following an appeal from the Member of Parliament for the Dome-Kwabenya Constituency, Faustina Elikplim Akurugu. The nursery block was in a dilapidated condition and required urgent rehabilitation to provide a conducive environment for teaching and learning.
The project was officially launched on 21 July 2026, marking the successful completion of the Foundation’s fourth school renovation initiative. This milestone reflects the Imperial Charity Foundation’s ongoing commitment to investing in education and making a meaningful difference in communities across Ghana.
The Foundation remains dedicated to expanding its impact through similar initiatives, ensuring that more children have access to learning environments that encourage growth, development and opportunity.
