Imperial Homes Construction is currently undertaking a landmark Public-Private Partnership (PPP) with the Ministry of Defence (MoD) to redevelop housing for officers and soldiers across key military enclaves in Accra, including Duala, DI, Burma Terrace, and Roman Ridge.
The Ghana Armed Forces Housing Redevelopment Programme currently comprises multiple active construction sites delivering over 100 new residential units for military personnel and their families. The ongoing developments include three four-bedroom residences at Burma Terrace, four three-storey 12-unit apartment blocks at Duala, and a three-storey 12-unit apartment block at the DI site. Construction commenced in 2024, with one of the Burma Terrace residences already completed and handed over. Phase One of the Duala development is also progressing steadily and is scheduled for completion by June 2026.
Designed to enhance the quality of life and welfare of Ghana’s military personnel, the programme delivers a diverse mix of modern apartments, townhomes, and single-family residences that combine functionality, comfort, and durability. Beyond providing housing, the development seeks to create sustainable communities through the incorporation of environmentally responsible building practices, energy-efficient systems, green technologies, and modern amenities that promote long-term value and resilience.
Through this transformative partnership, Imperial Homes Construction continues to demonstrate its commitment to nation-building through infrastructure excellence, leveraging technical expertise, innovation, and a strong sense of social responsibility to deliver lasting impact for the Ghana Armed Forces and the nation as a whole.
